My Journalism Photography Work-RIP 2011 Japanese Tsunami

I call these works my journalism photography trails;) Since I have been trying to make my blog more serious   for my own purpose, and to match my "brand me" project in uni; I decided to put more of my own works here. It could be a "Timeline Portfolio"!

Well today, I will start with my photoshoot for " Japanese Pray night".
( I have to thank Scott for inform me this great opportunity to photo this event)
Location: Elder Park, Adelaide, SA.
Time: April,2011
I understand that immediacy is an very important factor of journalism photography, let's just take this as a recall of my previous works.

In April 2011 , a group of Adelaide internationals voluntarily  gathered in Elder Park, amid tears, pray for those who suffered from the earthquake and tsunami happened in March 2011.The disaster that killed thousands, and triggered the world's worst nuclear crisis in a quarter century.

I went to the event as a photographer, and hoped to catch the touching moments of the prayers,  as well as to convey my deepest sympathy for the victims. In every photos that I captured, I can see the true sadness, sympathy and all the sincere wishes.

Here are some of the photos:

A Japanese child came with her parents to pray for the victims.

The host of the event.

The host of the event.

Deeply bow to the victims.

RIP.
And to those who lost  family members, friends...
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

I believe that it is worth trying your best for something you really love! It is such a treasure that I found something I like for years(probably for lifetime). Inspirations from every little element in life help me to brainstorm new ideas or concept, I could sit in front of my own photo for 8 hours doing editing, review for a long time seeking a way to improve.

Photography is something that worth putting all my efforts in, and sharing my eyes of beauty is such an enjoyable thing;)

Thanks for your reading, your comments(criticizes, suggestions, promotions ext.) are very important to me.
